Sure you can. You can use soy milk instead or just use water and a bit of corn starch to thicken it.

Sure! just use chicken stock instead. the squash already makes it thick. If you want it to be less sharp tasting/milder tasting, just add a touch of oat milk to it. You don't need cream.

I want to make soups with squash this year but is it possible without using cream? I know it tastes good, which is why it's in all the recipes, but is it the only option? I'm hoping to keep the calorie and fat load way down.Tags: None
