  • are carb blockers a scam?

The more I read about carb blockers, the more it all just seems like a farce. Do they actually help with weight loss?

No. I don't think that they help with weight loss. I think that some fat blockers can when used appropriately, but I think carb blockers are a farce, too.

I don't think they are a scam. That said,I also don't think they're going to do wonders for your weight loss either. Like fat blockers, carb blockers only block a small percentage of the starchy foods you ingest. What is blocked bypasses digestion and is simply eliminated from your body as waste. That said, the benefits are so minimal that you're more likely to end up with an upset stomach taking carb blockers than you are to see measurable weight loss.

I don't think they're necessarily a scam but they're not the route I would take. I don't know if any of them have actually been proven to boost weight loss. Ya, they might block carbs, but enough to show up on your scale? Probably not.
