I've heard a lot of good things about Meratrim, with some people claiming that it's one of the best OTC weight loss products on the market. I think it's a non-stimulant blend of two ingredients - a fruit and a flower. Does anyone know if it actually helps with fat reduction or is this just anther one of those "too-good-to-be-true" products?

This is just another victim of the "Oz effect". He's been in a lot of trouble from the (federal) Senate because of this and a lot of other diet "miracles" he's promised about. There has been research, but nothing significant done on humans. Just in a test tube. It doesn't mean it won't work, but it's really not proven
