If you only want to take a pill one time per day if you’re supposed to take 2 or if you only want to take it on weekends or something, is it safe to do that?

Can you alter the dose?

I think it's alright to only take 1 per day if that's all you want to do and it works for you. That said, I wouldn't take it only on weekends, because the product won't work effectively if you only take it a couple of times per week when it is meant to be taken daily.

Honestly, if you want whatever you're taking to work optimally, take it as close to the directions as possible. If you find that you don't want to take it as directed, ask yourself why that is. If it's because you're afraid of side effects, it may be better to consider taking something else because maybe you haven't found the product that is the most ideal for you.

I agree with your point Bethie. It's find to alter the does by taking less, but don't ever take more than the recommended daily amount, even if you think that you can handle it or for any other reason, like you think you might lose weight faster. The maximum dosage is there for a reason. Take it seriously.
