I'm curious. a lot of the prescription pills like belviq and qsymia all got approval in a really short time after the fda hadn't approved anything in decades, as far as I undersatnd it. Then belviq got banned. did something rush approval? did that happen too fast and should we trust the newer ones?

I don't really trust any of them. The most recent ones have the shortest history, though, so they're probably the ones I trust the least.

I'm always nervous of the newer types of pills. I've seen too many headlines saying that after a year or two of being approved, a drug has been found to have this or that problem. I'd rather wait until the longer-term impact is better known. I don't want to be a guinea pig when my health is the test.
