I made chili using all the usual ingredients last night, except that I had all these sliced mushrooms I needed to use up. I used those instead of beef and oh my god it was so good. I loved it just as much as my chili recipe that has meat in it. It was filling and delicious. I highly recommend giving it a try because you still get a ton of flavor, it's filling, but way lower calories and fats. You still get lots of proteins from the beans.
