  • Research question

All of the best recommendations say you should look into research of the ingredients of diet pills before you take them. Where do you find the reaserch?

A regular search engine search should do it. Just type the ingredient name and put "study" or "research" after it

Both Bonnie and Bethie's suggestions are all you need in order to find what you're looking for. That said, when looking for the research, pay attention to what has been specifically researched. Is it the pill itself or individual ingredients within it. Also, make sure the research has been conducted on humans and to determine its effectiveness for weight loss. Lots of research involves testing on animals and may have nothing to do with weight loss. As silly as it sounds, sometimes once you find the research you need to do more research on that research to make sure it's what you are actually looking for.

If the product you're looking into does have research referenced on the website, be sure to read into it. I've actually seen times when they'll post reference to studies that say that the ingredient does nothing, just because they assume nobody will ready it! Then they can say that it was "studied"!
