Is this fat binder really as good as some people claim? I've read that it can complex up to 9 times its own weight in dietary fiber. That sounds a little bogus to me...but maybe it's not. Does anyone know anything about this ingredient?

Dr Oz called it a "Fat eating fiber"...so in my opinion it's complete crap but he has some sort of investment in it

It's supposed to be a clinically researched fat-binding fiber, but as KittyKatt pointed out it's not any good. There isn't sufficient clinical evidence to prove that's it's good for weight loss. It's just a fancy sounding thing that popular TV doctors endorse because it makes them money.

Oh, poo! I thought it was something good. The name sounded so sophisticated and there were so many great things said about it! Thanks for the heads up, anyway
