Does anyone know if green tea extract has caffeine in it? I know that green tea itself does, but does the extract? How are those two things different?

I'm pretty sure it does contain caffeine but I don't think it's a huge amount. I think the difference between green tea and green tea extract is that the extract is a more concentrated dose of green tea. So in order to gain the same benefits of the extract via drinking green tea, you'd have to drink A LOT. As a very basic example, one small pill of green tea extract could be the equivalent to drinking 12 ounces of green tea. Hope that makes sense.

Yes it does have caffeine. The extract and green tea you drink is the same, but the extract is a more potent and concentrated dose - like Christysmiles said.
