  • Boosting immune system

    With everything that's going on these days, I've been thinking more and more about my immune system. Aside from vitamin C, what are some other foods I can eat that will help me to keep as healthy as I can be. Also, if I have a strong immune system and I get sick, will that help me to get over being sick faster?

    Go for antioxidants! Vitamin C is one of them, but also vitamin E, vitamin A and so on. Basically, if you have berries, bright-colored veggies or dark green veggies on your plate, you're doing great. Keep it up. Pair that with water and some healthy fats like omega-3 or olive oil or fatty fish so you know your body is absorbing it all.

      Go for healthy fats. They help your body run better and get fat-soluble vitamins. Also, drink so so much water. You won't ever stop yourself from getting it, but if you do, you will at least have your immune system primed and ready to fight for you.
