    The 80s did a really bad thing for people in terms of understanding how to lose weight. That decade told us that to lose weight, we just had to cut out as many fats from our diet as we can. Fats aren’t necessarily bad, though. We need good fats to be able to keep brain and nerve health, heart health and even to lose weight. They’re a vital part of overall nutrition and absorbing vitamins and minerals. Learn the difference between good fats and bad fats before you start slashing away a critical element of your health.

    That's a very good point. When you're on a reduced calorie diet, it's still very hard to incorporate fats because they take up so much of your allowable calories.
