Is the Kind Diet from Alicia Silverstone good for weight loss? I've done some looking into it and it doesn't look too bad, but it sounds more like a guide on how to become Vegan than it does a weight loss guide. Has anyone tried it for weight loss and found success?

It's alright, but honestly it really is more of a guide to eating vegan than it is for weight loss. The book doesn't recommend any exercise or anything like that. It just focuses on eliminating the consumption of all animal products. Unless you're ready to give up everything that comes from animals - meat, eggs, dairy, etc., this really is the best weight loss program.
