  • Tracking calories online

After the holidays, I’m going to start tracking calories online. What should I look for in a tracker program (computer, don’t need it on my phone)?

First, make sure it's free. I never pay for anything these days. Also, test it out and make sure it has a huge database of foods and exercises so you don't spend all your time entering in new foods and all their nutrition details.

I agree with Penny Thoughts a free tracker that will save you time with a huge pre-existing food database is exactly what you should look for. You'll likely find that you've got more than one option and you may find that you like one more than another, so don't feel you're trapped with only one option.

I've tried both sharefit.com and Spark. They're both pretty good. there's a bit of a learning curve for both but once you've used it a couple of times, it's pretty much easy after that

I agree with MadMike. Both of those ones are good, but they do take some time before you really get the hang of them. Just give them an honest shot before you give up haha. You'll discover that once you find your groove, it's really easy.
