  • Difference between ozempic and wegovy?

What's the difference between ozempic and wegovy? Are they the same drug, just rebranded?

I think they're pretty much the same thing with some tiny tweaks. It's just that O is for diabetes and W is for obesity.

What kind of tiny tweaks did they make? Are they both still injectable or will they make them into pills? Anyone know?

They're both the same drug: semaglutide

Is it the same dose between the two? I mean, is it the same amount of semaglutide no matter which version you get?

No, that's exactly the difference. There's a different amount of the drug.
