  • Butternut squash soup without cream - is it possible?

I want to make soups with squash this year but is it possible without using cream? I know it tastes good, which is why it's in all the recipes, but is it the only option? I'm hoping to keep the calorie and fat load way down.

Sure! just use chicken stock instead. the squash already makes it thick. If you want it to be less sharp tasting/milder tasting, just add a touch of oat milk to it. You don't need cream.

Sure you can. You can use soy milk instead or just use water and a bit of corn starch to thicken it.
