  • Are roasted pumpkin seeds (with shells on) a good diet food?

I'm doing a lot with squash and pumpkin probably now through Thanksgiving. I've been toasting the seeds because it's fun to do and they're a great snack. SO many in sugar pie pumpkins! Are they a good diet snack or should i go light on them?

Definitely! With the shells it's HUGE in fiber and fil you up. Pumpkin seeds are great for you and the shells offer a lot of bulk and not a lot of calories.

Pumpkin seeds that haven't been hulled are also great for supporting your digestive system. High in fiber but they also flush out toxins. They're even used for getting parasites out of some animals, so I bet it gets a lot of unwanted things out of the body.
