Hi everyone. I've had a couple of emotionally hard weeks and I'm finding it really hard to get back into the groove of my diet goals. I'd love for some tips on how I can motivate myself to get back on track. Right now everything just feels too hard and I don't think I'll ever be able to achieve what I want. I know that's a bad attitude, and I'm trying to get passed it, but I just can't seem to pull myself up. Any suggestions would be super appreciated. Thanks.

I feel your pain! I'm very sorry you're going through a tough time and I hope it's over soon. In my experience, my motivation is best when I don't tell myself I'm going back to it. It's best when I tell myself I'm starting fresh and will do better this time. Start first thing in the morning, tomorrow, and give it a fresh new go.

Try working with someone else. I feel guilty if I let someone else down but I'm willing ot let myself down. If I work with someone else, I stick to it better

I agree with MadMike. Working out with someone else make it a lot easier to achieve diet goals, especially when you are feeling down and exceptionally unmotivated. That said, even if you have to put your goals on hold for a little bit, don't give yourself a hard time about that TeensyTiff. Sometimes life happens and you just need to take a break. Stopping is a setback but it's not the end of the world. As long as you get back on track eventually, you'll be fine. I think the best thing you can do right now is be good to yourself and not be too hard on yourself.

Put your large weight loss goals aside for now. Instead make a goal to losensure just 2 pounds.when you do, set a new goal.
