  • are fall foods good for weight loss?

    I know summer foods like fresh fruits and veggies and salads are great for weight loss. Heavy winter foods make it challenging. What about fall foods? Is squash low-cal?

    Squash is actually low in calories and it's really good for you! Just remember that it only remains that way in its natural state. Once you start adding other ingredients to it or depending on how you cook it, these things can make it become less nutritious

      Pretty much if you eat veggies at any time of year, they're great for you and for a diet. That includes fall ones.

        I agree with brightstar. Veggeis and fruits all year round are good for you and the ones that are in season are the best because they also taste awesome! Just remember the fresher the better!

          That makes complete sense. When veggies and fruits are fresh, their nutrients havne't worn off. You really get the most out of whatever that is growing in your area right now.
