    Have you ever noticed that when you diet in a way that leaves you feeling guilty when you slip, you never meet your goal? Stop being hard on yourself. Diet like a human!

      It is important to diet like a human! I also agree with TinaDancer, at the same time, you also need to practice self-control. If you give yourself too many excuses or breaks, you won't really be dieting at all. Part of the reason dieting is so hard is it requires you to make changes to your eating habits. Even if these changes are small, at times, we can feel like they are far too much for us to handle, when in truth, they're not. It's a matter of being realistic and knowing when and when not to push yourself.
