    I'm trying to create a burrito salad bowl with something other than the usual ingredients. I'm looking for a fascinating, unexpected, delicious but low-fat topping to change things up a bit. Any ideas?

    Cook up some asparagus or cut it into thin circles and sprinkle it on raw as a topping like you would with green onions. It's surprisingly delicious

      Mushrooms! I know it's not usually an ingredient (unless you get a vegan one) but it boosts the nutrition, gives a whole new flavor, and makes it even more filling than it already is! I used to like slices, but now I like crimini mushrooms - or white button mushrooms - just cut in quarters for a bit more oomph to them!

          Use lots of different kinds of tomatoes! Yellow, red, brown. They're SO good and all have different flavors.
