  • The truth about thermogenesis

I know that thermogenesis is a real thing...but does it really do anything to actually help you body burn fat in any real way?

  • #2
Not on its own. It's not what sketchy diet pills would have you think. They basically tell you that you swallow a pill and thermogenesis will make you burn away all your excess body fat. It's not how it works. Reputable products will tell you that thermogenics help you to get the most out of your healthy metabolism. If you eat wrong and do nothing, they won't make a difference on your bathroom scale. If you take them along with your good diet and regular healthy physical activity level, they'll make sure you get the most out of everything you do so you're not wasting your time and effort.

I think it works. If you're dieting properly then it can definitely help you burn more fat than you would with a slow metabolism

It does work! Thermogenesis is a real thing and there are certain things that you can ingest that can actually flip it into high gear. That being said, just like fat binder, fat blockers, carb blockers, fat burners and appetite suppressants, just because something happens within your body, doesn't mean that this action is going to lead to weight loss. You still need to control your calorie intake and you still need to exercise to get the most out of it.

Thermogenesis does work, I agree with you. I think it is best used as a feature combined with something else. Also, thermogenesis is a category of fat burning, so if you like fat burners, then thermogenesis promoting ingredients are definitely within that area. You're definitely right that you must control your diet and keep up physical activity if you're taking a pill based on thermogenesis, and that this can be said about any of those other categories of pills. None of them will do anything without your own help.

I agree Anything has the potential to work or be helpful, but whether or not you actually lose weight is up to you and what you do. I wish this was emphasized more. i mean, I know people understand that they have to eat better and exercise and things to be health and shed excess pounds, but I wish the entire weight loss process was described and explained better much more frequently so people really understood the role they need to play in their own weight loss efforts.

Cool! Thanks for letting me know that this is how it works. I know that it's true for most stuff that you need to actually workout and things to get any real benefit, but it's nice to know that thermogenics can actually be helpful if you use them right!
