I've heard that B vitamins and minerals like calcium can be good for weight loss, but are there any others that I should be making sure are sufficient in my diet to help me in my weight loss efforts?

Are there any specific vitamins or minerals that are good for losing weight?

I don’t think there are any vitamins and minerals that can help you lose weight, but there are some that make it easier to gain weight when they are deficient, like vitamin B, as you said, but also magnesium. So they might not make it easier to lose weight, but they’ll help stop you from gaining unnecessarily, if that makes sense.

Thanks brightstar! I didn't realize that being deficient could actually cause weight gain! So even if consuming the right amount of minearals and vitamins do not lead to weight loss, at least they can help me from gaining it!
JokerzWild, it looks like your findings pretty much confirm the same thing brightstar has said. Thanks!

I've also heard that omega-3 is pretty good, but it's probably not a proven fact. I imagine that lots of vitamins and minerals are just good for your period. The right amounts help to keep your body balanced and running like a well-oiled machine, which can be good for weight loss because when you feel healthy you're more likely to make better choices for yourself to stay that way.
