  • Don't listen to Dr. Oz, listen to your doctor.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to pass on this tip that I feel is very important to anyone - like me - who is attempting to lose a lot of weight. If you haven't yet found a weight loss strategy that works for you, or you're a newbie dieter, talk to your doctor about your plans and your goals. Don't just listen to what celebrities tell your or what you hear on TV. Talk to someone who can monitor your progress and who can provide you with different SAFE, healthy, and suitable weight loss options that make sense to your lifestyle and that are goals you can achieve. If a doctor isn't an option for you, consult another professional for guidance. Please do what's right for your body. I've seen too many friends crash and burn.

Well said, M-Stark! I couldn't agree more. My doctor helped me out. I also found a dietitian to be really helpful for making me more aware of what I'm putting in my body and help me set up a diet plan that works for me

Amen M-Stark334! You really shouldn't be trusting your health to the word of a man who is paid to endorse products! It's not that Dr. Oz is unscrupulous, cuz I happen to like the guy, but he doesn't know you or your own personal health and weight loss needs. So talk to your doc who has at least met you!

If you don't want to go to your doctor, at least go to see a nutritionist or a dietician or even a physical trainer. Someone with some expertise can help to guide you. When you do it by yourself you're taking an even bigger risk.
